BUMC Kids

We are the children’s ministry of Brandenburg United Methodist church. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our children and world. We seek to serve others more than to be served ourselves and help children and families come alive in Christ and connect to His church. We love children and families by reaching for those far from God, by sacrificing for others and by building relationships and community. Our goal is to connect your child and your family to God and each other.

Welcome to our newly renovated nursery located on the first floor, in  a secured area just off The Gathering (cafe) area. The BUMC nursery accommodates our youngest children, from babies to preschool.

Interested in Serving?

We love volunteers! Whether you are a parent or just love children, we would love to help you find a place to plug into children’s ministries and help form young disciples. Our volunteers are screened with a background check along with additional safegaurds.

Safe Sanctuaries

Our church is trained in protecting our children, youth and vulnerable adults through the UMC program Safe Sanctuaries. All staff and volunteers submit to background checks and are and certified through this training.

Our goal is to:

• Protect our children, youth, and vulnerable adults

• Protect those who minister to and work with children, youth and vulnerable adults

• Protect those in our care from physical, emotional, and spiritual harm

• Honor those whom God entrusts to our care
